I hope I ask in the right section, I navigated here via Google translate. If not, dear moderator, pls. move my question in the appropriate section.

I like Zuno bank's fee schedule:
A: 0 fee for a checking account and EUR 1.20 for ATM withdrawals abroad
B: 2.80 monthly fee and free ATM withdrawals abroad
There are only two problems, though:
- I am not a permanent resident, so I am not qualified for this account.
- Their net banking require a Slovak SMS number for confirmation. Though I can get one, it's a PITA to replace a Slovak SIM card (once lost) when you are abroad

So I am looking for a banking solution (personal account) ideal for the non Slovak resident traveller:
- It should have preferable low monthly fees and/or ATM withdrawal fees worldwide
- An embossed Visa/MasterCard is not requred; if cheaper, a Maestro or a Visa Electron is also OK
- Preferred method for internet banking is Grid Card. 2nd best option is token. 3rd best option is international SMS number
- Internet banking should be available in English
- Professional English speaking phone banking should be available as well

What would be a short list of banks I should check out?

Thanks but:

Fia banka charges 2% z vyberanej sumy, min. 5,97 € for foreign ATM withdrawals

VUB charges 1.5% of booked transaction, min. € 6.50 for the same. Seems prohibitive to me.

From the pack Tatra Banka is the most reasonable with EUR 1.75 for an ATM withdrawal and a EUR 5 monthly fee. But is this the best, you can't find a better deal?

Thanks again. That is just a list of all banks, no new info to me. Actually I turned to a forum for advice is I presumed there are recommendations for banks best fit for a travellers needs from fellow travellers.

Alternatively, can you recommend a Slovak forum dedicated specifically for personal finance?
